Aluminum centerless grinding materials: Centerless grinding and bending.

This is a processing method devised for machining cylindrical materials.

Centerless grinding (polishing) is a processing method devised for machining cylindrical materials. It is an excellent method that achieves high rigidity, high efficiency, and high precision processing without the need for center support, as the material is extensively supported by two rotating magnets and a fixed support blade in between. At Hashinaga Metal Co., Ltd., we specialize in processing long materials through sulfide grinding (polishing). Regarding bending, there are two-dimensional and three-dimensional bends, and general rod materials typically exhibit a combination of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional bends. For high thermal conductivity mold materials, "beryllium copper" is recommended!

Achieve a shorter cooling time for plastic molding cycle times! Additionally, prevent deformation during molding by eliminating temperature variations! *Technical materials are currently available!

The material for molds, "Beryllium Copper," is a high-strength copper alloy with excellent thermal conductivity and superior wear resistance. Even in the molding of engineering plastics (engineering plastics) that require long cooling times, the high thermal conductivity enables a reduction in cycle time. Additionally, the common issue of poor cooling balance in large molds can be addressed, as it can be cooled without temperature variation, making deformation during molding less likely and leading to a reduction in defect rates. (There are examples of dimensional deformation being half compared to typical steel.) *It is also possible to improve the lifespan of copper with the dedicated coatings "DG Coat" and "TG Coat" for Beryllium Copper. **Voices from companies that have adopted this material:** ■Challenge: "We can't increase overtime due to work style reforms... We also lack manpower..." By switching to molds made with high thermal conductivity Beryllium Copper, we achieved high cycles! We succeeded in securing production volume without relying on outsourcing. ■Challenge: "Sales are slightly increasing... but profits are not rising..." Due to its higher wear resistance compared to steel and better cooling balance resulting in less deformation during molding, we achieved a reduction in defect rates! As a result, we succeeded in increasing the profits from the molds. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Do you know about high-hardness copper alloy materials that excel in thermal conductivity and wear resistance?

For molding general-purpose plastics and engineering plastics! Shortens the cooling process of molding with excellent heat absorption rate. Also reduces distortion and prevents sink marks.

The "beryllium copper alloy" provided by NGK Fine Mold is a copper alloy material commonly used in resin molding die materials, including general-purpose plastics and engineering plastics. ▼ What are the reasons? ☑ Excellent thermal absorption rate shortens the cooling process of molding ⇒ Achieves increased productivity! ☑ Uniform cooling eliminates deformation and sticking during molding ⇒ Contributes to quality stabilization! With thermal conductivity 3 to 7 times that of steel, measurements of the temperature change in one cycle of the mold showed a reduction in heating time by 10 seconds and cooling time by 30 seconds. We have successfully achieved a significant cut in molding cycle time. In addition to providing it in molds, we also offer it in round bars and blocks. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
